A home in the Woodmore community of Chattanooga was destroyed by fire Wednesday morning. At 6:05 AM on 3/13/24, Chattanooga Fire companies responded to a house in the 4500 block of Midland Pike. Neighbors called 911 to report that the residence was burning and firefighters from Station 13 could see flames from North Moore Road as they headed to the scene. They found heavy fire conditions on arrival with flames through the roof of the structure.

Green Shift companies worked a two-alarm house fire in Hixson early Wednesday morning. At 1:36 AM on 2/21/24, Chattanooga Fire responded to a home in the 1700 block of Colonial Shores Drive after 911 received reports that the back of the residence was burning with flames through the roof. Firefighters arrived on scene and found heavy fire coming from the rear of the structure. They went inside and conducted a primary search while attacking the flames and confirmed that everyone was out of the house.
